How does Avocado Leads work?
Last updated: 21 October 2026
Avocado Leads captures people who are already engaging on a post, profile or search, ranks them by intent, then runs a paced follow or connect campaign, with a message after, from your own signed-in browser. Every result, including skips and failures, is recorded.
Capture people who are already engaged
Paste a post, a profile or a search. Avocado Leads collects the people who commented, reacted, followed or match the search, as a saved lead list that does not get lost between sessions.
What can be captured depends on the platform: for example, commenters on an Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Reddit, Facebook or TikTok post, but no list of people who reacted to a LinkedIn post. See what works on each platform.
Score intent so you start with the strongest signals
Each person gets a score from 0 to 100 built from four parts: buying language in their comments, how recently they were active, how well they fit your business, and how reachable they are. If a field was not captured it adds nothing, so the score is never guessed. The words that matched can be shown so you can see why someone scored as they did.
Choose how to reach them
Pick the step that fits the platform: follow on Instagram, X, Reddit and Facebook (a friend request on Facebook when it is offered), connect on LinkedIn, then a message afterwards where the platform allows one. The relationship is checked first, and people already connected, blocked, or who cannot be messaged are skipped rather than attempted.
Messaging has real limits: LinkedIn messages reach first-degree connections only, Facebook and TikTok messages are not sent by Avocado Leads; you send them yourself.
Run a paced campaign with caps and warm-up
You set a comfortable pace and personalise your message. Avocado Leads spreads actions out, keeps to its own hourly, daily, weekly and monthly ceilings per platform, and ramps a newly connected account up over about four weeks, with follows and connection requests first and messages later. Details are on the safety page.
Read receipts and outcomes
Every pause, skip, retry and required action is visible with a next step. Avocado Leads checks whether a request was accepted and follows up only when the next step is appropriate, so you can see who replied and who needs a manual look.
Where does it run?
In your own signed-in browser session. Avocado Leads never asks for your social passwords. Some actions need the platform open in a browser tab while they run.
